National NRP-12 Weathered Steel

With it's dark "Weathered Steel' finish, National's NRP-12 has a vintage vibe that's a perfect match for its bluesy steel-bodied resonator tone. The 12-fret steel-bodied Nationals have a history that dates back to the late 1920s, and National's current incarnation of its steel-body 12 fret does what it does perfectly. There's clang and brashness when you want it, and a prettied-up sweetness if you back off the throttle. Intonation and playability are excellent, and the guitar can be set-up for non-slide fingerstyle playing easily as well.

Mahogany neck with slotted headstock and ebony fingerboard, rounded V neck carve with 1-13/16” width at the nut, 25” scale, and compound radius.
