Martin OM-28 (2018)

Whether it's fingerstyle or flatpicking, strumming or plucking, the Martin's OM-28 (2018) has got you covered. Hands down the most versatile instrument in the Martin lineup, there's nothing that this guitar doesn't do well. It's loud and present, rumbly and open, balanced and strong; and it has just the right mix of fundamental and overtone in its voice.

Like all of Martin’s 2018 Standard Series models the OM-28 has a vintage aesthetic, with herringbone purflings, aged white bindings, vintage style open-geared tuners and an old-style headstock logo. Gloss lacquer finish with slightly ambered top; bevelled tortoise pickguard, slotted diamond fingerboard inlays, and red-eye bridge pins to finish things off.

A very comfortable guitar to play and hold, the OM-28's 15" wide 000 size body is married to a neck that's carved with a performing artist low-oval taper and has a 1-3/4" nut width.

Sitka Spruce top with scalloped bracing, Indian rosewood back and sides; mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge.
