Martin 00-28 (2018)

Martin’s redesign and reintroduction of the 00-28 is very exciting news here at Folkway. We’ve been waiting years for the company to bring back their 14 fret rosewood 00, and it was worth the wait. The new model features a lightly braced top, gorgeous vintage-inspired features, a short scale neck and a comfortable 1-3/4” nut width. It’s a warm and open sounding guitar, with a woody voice, perfect string-to-string balance, and lots of character.

Indian rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top with scalloped bracing, mahogany neck with bound ebony fingerboard, 24.9” scale, 1-3/4” nut, and modified low oval carve. Antique white bindings with herringbone purflings and classic style 28 rosette, bevelled tortoise-celluloid pickguard, vintage toned high gloss lacquer finish. Old style CF Martin headstock logo, vintage style open-geared tuners, and bone nut and saddle.
