Martin 00-28VS
The 00-28VS is a smaller bodied 12 fretter, with vintage series scalloped braces, pyramid bridge, slotted headstock, and wide 1-7/8" nutwidth. It's an astonishingly big sounding guitar for something that's a scant 14" wide, and its sonic depth, character, warmth and complexity is inspiring. The guitar is an able flatpicker, stunning in dropped or open tunings, and amazingly versatile.
Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce body with herringbone trim, ivoroid bindings, zig-zag back strip, and gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish. One piece mahogany neck with V carve, slotted headstock, ebony fingerboard, slotted diamond inlays, and 24.9" scale length. Waverly tuning machines, bone nut and saddle, vintage style cream colored pins.
