2005 Blanchard Custom 00 Prototype
Dated July 6th 2005. This 00 sized Prototype would later become known as the Juniper -- one of Blanchard's standard models. This version, constructed with Indian rosewood back and sides European spruce top, and a contoured Venetian cut-away, features a short 24.75" scale neck with a nut width of 1-25/32".
With its smaller body dimensions, shorter scale and light build, the guitar has a well developed and open midrange and responds very nicely to dropped tunings. The trebles are very nicely balanced with the guitar's low strings, and the instrument has excellent projection.
A tastefully appointed instrument, the Blanchard custom 00 features Macassar ebony bindings, rosewood inlaid rosette and Gotoh 510 tuning machines.
In excellent condition with a few small dings and a small scratch on the top near the bridge. Set-up in our shop.
With custom Calton hardshell case
