2009 Bourgeois Slope D Lefty

For the lefties in the room, feast your eyes and ears on this red spruce topped short scale Bourgeois Slope D! These don't come around often, and it's a real treat to get to give this guitar a workout every morning when I get to the shop...

Slope-shouldered Dreadnought, with mahogany back and sides, scallop-braced red spruce top, ivoroid bindings and gloss tobacco sunburst finish. Rounded C carved neck with 1-3/4” nut and 24-7/8” scale, and a string spread of 2-3/16 at the bridge. Waverly tuners, bone nut and saddle, tortoise-celluloid pickguard and bound snakehead style headstock with pearl logo.

A rich, powerful, and responsive guitar with a thick, forward and strong mid range; warm and defined bass; and rounded, full trebles. This lefty Slope D has a lot to offer to most any left-handed player. It can handle a heavy pick attack, and it's easy to energize when played fingerstyle as well. A do-it-all well kind of guitar, and one that's hugely fun to play. Great looks, excellent set-up, and tone all day long.

In excellent condition but for a small repaired ding on the top and a few other minor dings on the body. Strap button in the heel, and K+K pickup with endpin output jack.
