OME Tupelo

We are big fans of the Ome Banjo Company of Boulder, Colorado and we are very exited have the Tupelo once again in stock.

Styled after classic 19th century instruments and reminiscent of OME's "Minstrel" model, the Tupelo was introduced a few years back as a simply designed, meticulously crafted, yet affordable old timey banjo and our staff is simply smitten by it!

It features a slightly shorter and fuller-feeling neck with a scale length of 25.5″ and nut width of 1.34″. The 12 inch tortoise bound two ply maple pot features a shaped wood tone rim and a single wooden adjustable dowel rod. The end of the 17 fret ebony fretboard is finished with a gracefully carved S-scoop for easy frailing. Aged brass hardware with 14 brackets and OME "Sweetone" tailpiece. Tung oil vanish finish.

The Tupelo has a clean, loud, round and sweet tone perfect for your next old timey jam session. It's light and comfortable too, and has an excellent neck feel thanks to the tung-oil finished mahogany neck.

With hardshell case.
