OME Tupelo

Styled after classic 19th century instruments and reminiscent of OME's "Minstrel" model, the Tupelo was introduced a few years back as a simply designed, meticulously crafted, yet affordable old timey banjo and our staff is simply smitten by it!

It features a slightly shorter and fuller-feeling neck with a scale length of 25.5" and nut width of 1.34". The 12 inch tortoise bound two ply maple pot features a shaped wood tone rim and a single wooden adjustable dowel rod. The end of the 17 fret ebony fretboard is finished with a gracefully carved S-scoop for easy frailing. Aged brass hardware with 14 brackets and OME "Sweetone" tailpiece. Tung oil vanish finish.

The Tupelo has a clean, loud, round and sweet tone perfect for your next old timey jam session. It's light and comfortable too, and has an excellent neck feel thanks to the tung-oil finished mahogany neck.

With hardshell case.
