Waterloo WL-12TR

Waterloo's WL-12 is a particularly exciting model. With its figured maple back and sides, 12 fret neck joint, manageable rounded neck carve, and light weight, it's a very responsive, lively, rich and warm, and inspiring 00-sized 12 fretter. There really isn't any other production guitar being made that's at all like the Maple WL-12, which is too bad, really. Collings has really dialled in on how to make a great sounding Maple guitar -- one with clarity and slight compression this tonewood offers, and one that maintains the open and breathy voice of a lightly built 12 fretter. We're big fans.

L-00 sized maple and spruce body with light X bracing, tiny bridge plate, protein-glue construction, and great looks. Sunburst top, dark stained back and sides, ivoroid top binding and rosette, and firestripe pickguard. Rounded neck carve with rosewood fingerboard, 1-3/4" nut, 24-7/8" scale, and 2-3/8" string spread at the bridge. Bone saddle, ebony nut, Stew-Mac Golden Age tuners.

With hardshell case.
