Collings 290DC
The Collings 290DC is a late 50's inspired slab-body double-cut with a pair of Lollar P-90 pickups and a set-in neck. Based on one of the most iconic rock guitar designs, the 290DC is right at home on high-volume stages and plugged into screaming tube amps. The grit and snarl of P-90's in a short-scale mahogany solid-body are legendary. Collings' fit and finish detail, and exceptional neck feel and playability make the experience even better.
Long tenon neck joint, 24-7/8” scale, round C-shaped neck with 1-11/16” nut width, bone nut, and rosewood fingerboard with a straight 12” radius. Mahogany body and neck, gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, three-ply black pickguard and black accents. Nickel Kluson bridge and tailpiece, Gotoh tuners.
