National Vintage '47 Black
National Resophonic partnered up with Vintage 47 Amplifiers to recreate modern versions of National's pre-war classics. This tweed combo features a 12" ToneTubby Alnico speaker, paired 6L6 power tubes, a GZ34S rectifier, and a single 6SN7EH pre-amp tube. The amp has a late 1940's New York Premier kind of tone, with a smoother response, slightly later break-up, and jazzy or folky vibe. It's about 15 watts, and big enough to take pedals fairly well. This Vintage 47 amp is hand made in the USA, point-to-point wired, and features a finger-jointed wooden cabinet and black tolex cover. Leather handle, National badge and super-cool Aluminum National grille.
