1960 Fender Champ Set - Amp & Steel
Steel serial # 7076, Amp production code JJ (1960), parts all coded mid 1959 to mid 1960.
Another very lovely Fender Champ set, and the fourth we've offered for sale in the last two months. Locally found, and in very fine condition. The steel shows some finish wear on the back but is original and works well. The amp is in similar cosmetic shape -- no tears or rips in the tweed or grille, and the handle is healthy. The original speaker is included with the amp (but not pictured). It works, but sounds like its voice coil needs replacement. The Mojo Tone Ceramic replacement brings out the best of the amp. Completely original otherwise, including tubes and AC cord.
