1975 Dobro D-33
Serial # M4565. The mid 1970's OMI Dobro D33 offered players an interesting twist on the traditional spider-bridge Dobro with its brass body. A hybrid between a 14 fret Style 0 and a traditional Dobro, the guitar offers the smooth response typical of a Dobro, but with an extra little bit of barkiness imparted by the brass. It's still a very warm guitar, with that compression you'd expect. A lovely sounding instrument.
