1975 Dobro Model 60

Serial# D 807 5. By 1975, the year in which this Model 60 was built, Dobro was being manufactured by the Original Musical Instrument Company (OMI) by Dopyera brothers Rudy and Emil. Essentially a remake of the 1930's Model 27, this Model 60 is one of the nicest sounding 70's Dobros we've had through the shop. Thick, shimmery trebles with full mids and a woody bass response make this an instrument that needs to be heard and played. It's in great condition for a four decade old instrument as well, with just a few minor nicks attesting to its age.

Maple laminate body, square maple neck, 24-5/16" scale and 1-15/16" nut. Beanwood fingerboard, bone nut and open-geared tuners. Completely original and in fine shape. Set up in our shop.
