1959 Fender Champ Steel
Serial #5716, pots dated 1959. The Champ Steel replaced the Champion in Fender's lineup in 1959 and remained part of the company's electric line into the 80's. This steel is a local find, along with its attractive tweed case and original Fender polish cloth.
Completely original and set up in our shop, this Champ is in excellent condition, with just a few slight wear marks along its sides to attest to its age. The case is also in good condition with the exception of a few well-placed cigarette burns in its creamsicle coloured interior. Excellent tone.
