Taylor Baritone-8e

Always on the lookout for things new and exciting in the world of the stringed instruments, we were happy to spot this Taylor 8 string baritone at a recent Roadshow event and even happier to make sure that it didn't make the return trip to San Diego. Tuned a fifth lower than a standard guitar, this rosewood-bodied baritone is packed with a plethora of new sonic possibilities that are just waiting to be explored. Dark in tone with a sparkle added by octaved A and D strings, this guitar lends itself equally well to being played finger style or with a pick. An onboard ES pickup system adds to the versatility of this instrument.

Rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top, rosewood binding, ebony fingerboard and bridge, bone 1-3/4" nut, bone saddle, diamond/square fretboard inlays, tropical mahogany satin finished neck, abalone rosette, gold Taylor tuners and a 27" scale.

With hard shell case
