2005 George Lowden S-30th Anniversary

Serial # 15055. In celebration of his first 30 years, George Lowden built 30 S-body anniversary guitars. The instrument is beautifully constructed with pearwood back and sides and a redwood top. The bindings are of rosewood and nicely highlighted with Sycamore, rosewood and walnut purflings. Bound ebony fingerboard, rosewood bridge with split saddle, short 24-5/8" scale, round-carve mahogany and walnut 3 piece neck with 1-3/4" nutwidth; Gotoh gold 510 tuners with ebony buttons.

The guitar is in perfect condition and only gently used. Fit and finish are gorgeous, set-up is spot on. Like all Lowden guitars, this one is loud and focused. There is a surprising amount of bass response given the guitar's small size, and the redwood top imparts a sparkly presence across all the guitar's registers.

With original provenance and warranty papers, and Hiscox Liteflite hardshell case.
