2006 Santa Cruz VS

Serial # 4647. The Santa Cruz VS nods its hat to the great sloped-shouldered Gibson Jumbos of the early 1940's. With its incredibly light build, wide-angled double-tapered X bracing, short scale neck, and round neck carve, the VS does a very good job at emulating the tone of a two tone-bar J-35 or a late 1940's Southern Jumbo. A very warm and thumpy guitar, but with the added fidelity of a modern luthier-built instrument, the VS is a lovely strummer and a perfect choice for vocal accompaniment.

Mahogany back, sides, and neck, Sitka spruce top; Ivoroid body bindings, ebony board and rectangular bridge. 24.75" scale, 1-11/16" nut. The guitar is in perfect condition, but has had a finish scratch repaired on its top, along with a few dings. Excellent set up, and a joy to play.

With original hardshell case
