1935 Washburn 5206 AS-IS

Serial # 330. Here’s a completely original sunburst Washburn 5206. It’s an X-braced 0 sized guitar with mahogany back and sides and spruce top. This one needs some good loving, but will make an excellent sounding and great looking guitar when complete. Most of the braces are loose or no longer attached, and two back braces are missing. The neck needs to be reset and refretted, the bridge reglued, and the guitar set-up. The guitar is crack-free. The back is loose near the neck, and removing it entirely to do this restoration is necessary.

Original tuners are missing one gear, original bridge pins, nut, saddle, strap, and case are all included. We picked this one up many years ago hoping to have time to get it done, but we simply have too much work in the repairshop and won’t get to it in the foreseeable future. Soft-V neck carve, 1-3/4” nut, 24. 7” scale length,
