2016 Collings D1A Traditional

Collings’ D1A T is a powerhouse of a guitar, featuring an Adirondack red spruce top and a Traditional build package that combines a forward-shifted pre-war inspired bracing pattern, animal protein glue construction, thinner Nitrocellulose lacquer finish, and a unique neck design to offer players and aged-in, well-opened and hugely responsive voice.

This 2016 model is a tremendous instrument. Incredibly loud and well-developed, wonderful bass register, and full, thick, round and bold trebles. There’s a whole lot of vintage D-18 tone in this one and, even at just 3 years old, it’s well on its way to the top of the pile.

Mahogany back and sides, ebony fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, and Waverly tuners. 1-3/4 nut, 2-5/16” string spread at the bridge. In excellent condition and perfectly original.
