2012 Taylor GC8

The GC8 is a fingerstylist's dream Taylor. It's a responsive and warmly voiced instrument with excellent string to string balance, and a perfect tonal-union of sparkle and depth.

Master-grade tonewoods throughout, with Indian rosewood back and sides, and Sitka spruce top. The top is tastefully adorned with an abalone rosette and fine purflings, and ivoroid bindings edge the body. The neck features a bound ebony fingerboard with dot inlays, slotted headstock, and attractive open-geared tuners with ivoroid buttons.

With its smaller GC body, scalloped braces, shorter-scale neck (25"), and phenomenally comfortable neck carve with a 1-3/4" nut, the guitar plays itself. And does it in style.

This example is very gently used (read: looks new), and was bought at Folkway originally. It's been fitted with a K&K Pure Mini pickup, (by us, too), and has a fresh in-shop set-up.

With original deluxe hardshell case.
