2012 Taylor 814ce Aura
Serial # 1101242068. For the musician who loves the feel, look, and sound of a Taylor 814 cut-away, but who'd prefer the plugged-in tonal options of Fishman's Aura onboard pickup system -- this custom 814ce Aura is an exciting option!
The guitar was ordered from Taylor as an acoustic 814ce, but without the standard Expression System. When it arrived at Folkway, we installed the Fishman Aura Onboard pickup, and downloaded the images specific to the 814ce from Fishman's Website. Very cool. The result is a guitar that, when plugged in, uses sampled tone 'images' of its unplugged self to create a very realistic and true amplified sound.
In perfect condition, the guitar shows almost no playwear. Frets show light wear only in the first position, finish is perfect, and the set-up is excellent -- complete with a compensated bone saddle.
Beautiful Indian rosewood back and sides, master-grade Sitka spruce top. Figured maple bindings, pearl rosette and 800 series trimmings, gold tuning machines.
