2006 Larrivée L-05 Custom Limited Edition
#38 of a limited run of 50 guitars built with quilted mahogany, pearl-inlaid headstock, polished bone nut and saddle, and gold tuning machines with ivoroid buttons. The guitar is beautiful, and in flawless condition. Set-up by us, it plays very easily, with an action of 5 to 6/64ths at the 12th fret.
A very warm, open, and resonant Larrivée, with a tone somewhat along the lines of a J-45, but with a touch of sparkle through the trebles. It's a lovely sounding guitar, and certainly a versatile one.
Low D neck carve with a scale of 25.5" and a nut width of 1-3/4". Maple bound body with Sitka spruce top, ebony bridge and bound fingerboard, ebony bridge pins. High gloss finish.
