2002 Taylor W-14ce

Serial # 20020320146. A wonderfully mature sounding Taylor with an open and expressive voice, sweet and rich mid range, and excellent string balance. A fingerstylist's dream.

The W-14ce features a Sitka spruce top, three-piece back and sides of figured walnut, and gloss finished body and headstock face. It's tastefully appointed with ivoroid bindings, abalone rosette, bound soundhole, and pearl Celtic pattern fingerboard and headstock inlays. Ebony fingerboard and bridge, gold Grover tuning machines, and onboard Fishman prefix Stereo blender which combines an under-saddle ribbon and internal condenser microphone for excellent plugged-in tone.

The guitar is in lovely condition and has been very well maintained. It has no cracks, repairs, or modifications; its finish is nearly blemish-free and has aged to a beautiful pale amber color, and its frets are largely unworn. Set-up just completed at Folkway, and the guitar plays as you'd expect a Taylor to - fast and easy. Satin finished neck, 1-3/4" nut width, 25.5" scale.
