2002 Santa Cruz Custom OM
With its all-mahogany body, rounded cut-away, and pearl-bound top, this custom OM by Santa Cruz is anything but ordinary. It's a striking an exquisite guitar, with beautiful details, and a balanced, articulate, and pure voice.
Scalloped-braced South American mahogany top with matching back and sides, style 41 abalone pearl trim and rosette, ivoroid bindings with delicate maple and ebony purflings. Small tortoise-celluloid pickguard, belly bridge with compensated bone saddle and tortoise-dot bone pins.
Single-piece mahogany neck with ivoroid-bound ebony fingerboard and matching headstock overlay. Pearl SCGC logo in the headstock, pearl micro-dot fingerboard inlays. Bone nut and nickel Waverly tuning machines.
Soft V neck carve with low profile, 1-11/16” with at the nut, 25.4” scale, and a string spread of 2-3/16” at the bridge. Action set to 5-6 64ths at the 12th fret, with full height saddle. Frets show little wear.
The guitar is in excellent condition, without repairs or issues. There are a few minor scratches in the finish, and a small ding at the sound hole left by a pickup that has been removed. Set-up by us, the guitar plays easily and cleanly.
