2002 Larrivée OM-04
A stunning OM from the early days of Larrivée's California shop. The 04 model designation was a glossy version of the popular 03 series, and featured the same maple bindings, bound ebony fingerboard and solid tonewoods as its less expensive sibling. This particular guitar has an exceptionally beautiful old-growth Sitka spruce top with an immeasurable number of grain lines and a perfectly quartered cut.
X-braced top, South American mahogany back and sides, one-piece mahogany neck with ebony headstock overlay and chrome tuners. The pickguard is one we made and installed back in 2002 or so when this guitar was purchased new from Folkway. It's pretty gorgeous too, if we do say so ourselves.
The guitar is in near mint condition and plays perfectly thanks to a fresh set-up and only very light fretwear.
D-shaped neck carve, 1-3/4” nutwidth, 25.5” scale.
