2002 D'Aquisto New Yorker

The modern D'Aquisto New Yorker model is a finely built Japanese-made archtop with a 17” single-cut body, floating Bartolini pickup, and some seriously good looks. Solid maple and spruce body with pressed top and back, X bracing, gloss antique violin sunburst finish, and bound wooden pickguard. Maple neck with bound ebony fingerboard and pearl inlays, gold Imperial tuners, and pearl headstock inlay.

This example is in near-mint condition and has been set-up here at Folkway. Playability is excellent. Nut width is 1-11/16”, 25.5” scale neck with low and rounded carve for a fast feel.
