1992 Larrivée C-09 Maple

Serial # 12628. With its tightly figured quartersawn maple back and sides, mosaic rosette, maple bindings and multi-line purflings, and gorgeous Florentine cut-away, this is one good looking guitar! That fact that it sounds as good as it does is a no-charge added feature.

No other guitar sounds anything like a good maple C-09, and it's a model that can span the genres like few others. It's a guitar that both modern fingersytle players and vintage-Gibson strummers would appreciate equally. It has a strong, open, and warm midrange, excellent treble string presence, and a bass response that is both deep and articulate.

This example plays very nicely, with original frets that are in good shape. The guitar shows an assortment of dings, and light scratches and shows minor pick scratching south of the soundhole. Three inches of the top's center seam was cleanly glued in our shop, and the endblock was drilled for two endpin jacks, although there is no pickup currently installed in the guitar. Original bone nut and saddle, ebony bridge pins, and Schaller tuners.

Low D neck profile, 1-3/4" nut width, 25.5" scale. Larrivee L-body dimensions, with lower bout 16" across.

With original hardshell case.
