1990 Marc Beneteau Jumbo

Serial # 130790. This twenty-plus year old maple jumbo captures the essence of the great 50's Gibson J-200s but does it with a level of craftsmanship never even imagined in Kalamazoo! The tone is crisp, even, and strong, with that classic compression and subtle sub-bass of a maple jumbo.

The guitar features a tightly flamed three-piece maple back and matching sides, maple neck, and master-grade Sitka spruce top. 17" wide Jumbo body with Florentine cut-away, rosewood bridge and bound fingerboard, bone nut and saddle, and Gotoh tuners.

In particularly excellent condition, this instrument doesn't look half it's age. No cracks, repairs, or issues of any kind; near-perfect original lacquer finish, and very little fretwear. It's nicely set up, and plays very easily. Classic round low profile neck carve, 1-11/16" nut, 25.5" scale.
