2011 Martin OM-21 Special

Serial # 1526685. The Martin OM-21 Special pays tribute to the simple-yet-beautiful Pre-War style-21 with its rosewood bound rosewood body, herringbone rosette, and pyramid bridge. The instrument has a very definite vintage style, and with thanks to its scallop-braced lightly built top, has a very definite vintage tone as well.

A lovely fingerstyle OM, the 21 Special's 2-5/16" wide bridge string spacing and 1-3/4" nut width allow both hands room to move, while the long 25.4" scale and OM body ensure ample volume, projection, and a balanced response. The neck has a modern low-C carve, and the guitar is fitted with bone nut and compensated saddle. Vintage style open-geared tuners, old style headstock logo, small beveled-edge tortoise pickguard, and vintage-toned nitro lacquer finish off the instrument nicely.

This very gently used OM-21 Special is in nearly-new condition, and has just been set up in our shop.
