1949 Martin 0-18

Serial # 111392. The combination of this guitar's gorgeous patina and wear, excellent playability and action, warm tone, and no cracks or poor repairwork pretty much makes for a special vintage guitar playing experience. This late '40's 0-18 looks old, the right way - feels old, the right way - and sounds old, the right way. Neck reset, refret, pickguard reglue, and set-up by our shop; completely original (including nut, saddle, and pins), tremendously great looks, and a finish-worn neck that feels oh-so-great. Years of use have really opened up this guitar, and the basses are well developed, especially considering small size of the instrument. Round trebles are complimented by mids with a strong fundamental presence, making the instrument quite versatile. Bare fingers, fingerpicks, flatpicks -- all seem to draw out the best of the guitar. 24.9" scale, 1-11/16" nut, full-feeling neck with a hint of a soft-V in the carve. With hardshell case
