2011 Martin Custom Shop OM

A very tastefully appointed Custom Shop Martin OM, this guitar harkens to the pre-war era style 21, with its wooden accents and herringbone trimmings. It's a lovely guitar to play, with a well opened-up voice and scalloped braced warmth, a very comfortable oval neck with 1-3/4” nut, and excellent responsiveness.

Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce, scalloped braces, ebony pyramid bridge with drop-in bone saddle, and small OM bevelled tortoise pickguard. Bound in rosewood and purfled with bold strips of maple and ebony, the guitar's edges balance its herringbone-center style 28 rosewood perfectly. The back features similarly bold maple purflings and a herringbone backstrip that matches the rosette.

Ebony fingerboard with no inlays, satin-finished mahogany neck, nickel matte-finished vintage style tuners, bone nut and saddle. 25.4” scale, 1-3/4” nut.

The guitar is in near-perfect condition and shows almost no playtime. Set-up here at Folkway it plays beautifully as well.
