2008 Martin D12-28
Martin's D12-28 is something of a rare and welcomed sight. The 12 string version of the venerable D-28 is a gorgeous guitar with a hefty voice and great looks. This example is in fabulous condition and has just been carefully set-up here at Folkway.
X-braced Sitka spruce top, rosewood back and sides with white bindings, ebony fingerboard and bridge, gloss lacquer finish, chrome tuners and black pickguard. The 14 fret neck measures 1-7/8 at the nut and the scale is 24.9”, which makes it the one of the only short scale Dreadnoughts in the Martin catalogue.
This example is in like new condition and shows almost no fretwear. It's been set-up here at Folkway with 10's and an action of 5-7 64ths.
