1974 Martin D-28

Serial #338687. Well, if you're turning 40 this year, you've found good company with this 40-year-old Martin D-28. It's in better condition than most of the 40 year olds we know, but we wont harp on that. Suffice to say, the guitar is gorgeous, in beautiful condition, and easily ready for its next 40 years of service.

Indian rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top, classic style 28 appointments, ebony board and bridge, and Grover Rotomatic tuners. Close inspection will reveal a near-invisible repaired pickguard crack and a perfectly sized and beveled hand-cut replacement pickguard (both by our shop). No other cracks, repairs or modifications, almost no finish wear, and an excellent set-up. Full height bridge with low saddle, easy action of 5-6 64ths at the 12th fret, 1-11/16" nut, and 25.4" scale.

With original blue/grey Martin thermoplastic hardshell case
