1945 Martin 0-17T Tenor

Serial # 93360. The small bodied 0-17T is a favorite among the singer-songwriter crew, and really shines when set-up down-tuned to octave mandolin tuning (GDAE). The guitar is large enough of offer warmth, volume, and projection, but is still small and comfortable to play, and has a very balanced and rich voice. This example has been set-up to octave mandolin tuning in our shop, and plays perfectly.

Completely original but for a newer bone saddle; the guitar shows a few repaired minor cracks along the back's center seam and has a repaired top crack at the pickguard's inner margin. Full height original bridge, original and largely unworn brass frets, original Kluson tuners, ebony nut, and finish.

23" scale, 1-1/4" nut; mahogany body with X braced top; mahogany neck with Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, bridge, and headstock overlay.
