Recent Weber Alder #2 Mandola
Serial # 008809. The Weber Alder #2 Mandola features beautiful tonewoods and a braced flat-top construction. It's a very warm and resonant instrument with a long sustain, lovely sweetness and ring, and rich overtones. Particularly well suited to Celtic styles, solo instrumental playing, or vocal accompaniment, this mandola is an excellent choice for most any style of playing that's not bluegrass! Good thing there really aren't too many bluegrass mandolists out there!
Figured maple back, sides and neck, spruce top, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and ivoroid bindings throughout. Pearl inlaid headstock, pearl stylized diamond fingerboard inlays. Cast Weber tailpiece, and Schaller tuning machines.
The instrument is in exceptional condition and has been carefully set up in our shop. Playability is spot-on.
