1964 Epiphone FT-28 Octave Mandolin Conversion

Serial # 173622. Here's a cool 1960's Epiphone FT-28 tenor guitar that's been lovingly converted to an octave mandolin and does its current musical job particularly well. It's set up to be tuned GDAE, and has a very rich and resonant voice. New bone nut and saddle by us, excellent original fretwork, and easy playability.

Solid mahogany body, ladder bracing, rosewood bridge and fingerboard, tortoise celluloid binding, white pickguards, gloss lacquer finish. The guitar is in nearly-new condition, and has had no repairs other than the conversion to 8 string.

1-3/16" nut width, 22.75" scale. LG sized body with lower bout 14-1/4" across.
