Collings MT Mandola
Serial # A2686. The hits keep on coming every time we open another box from Collings. This time it's their MT Mandola. An exquisitely built, affordable high-end mandola, this instrument packs a lot of value for its price tag; we've upgraded this one a bit by adding a glossy top and ivoroid top binding. With a deep, rich and woody voice this mandola is a difficult instrument to put down.
Carved Adirondack spruce top and carved figured maple back and sides, parallel tone bar bracing, V-shaped neck profile, sunburst satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish on the back, sides, and neck; radiussed fingerboard and ebony adjustable bridge, 1-5/16" bone nut, Collings one-piece tailpiece, nickel tuning machines with ivoroid buttons. 15 fret neck joint, scale length of 15.9", nut width of 1-5/16".
