1925 Vega Style M Tubaphone Tenor

Serial # 65190. An 11-13/16” Tu-Ba-Phone, with 17 fret, 21” scale tenor neck. Set up to Irish tenor G tuning, the banjo sounds very fine. It is loud and clear, but has a little extra warmth and bass thanks to the larger head diameter.

The banjo is completely original and in very good condition, with the exception of a modern Weatherking head. The neck is straight and the angle is good, the original frets are clean, and the finish and metal plating shows modest wear. Tu Ba Phone tone ring, 30 bracket rim assembly, pearl inlays, maple rim and neck, friction pegs. Beautifully set-up in our shop, too.
