2002 Marc Beneteau Lefty Concert Standard

Serial # 020803. A guitar with remarkable volume across the strings and up the fingerboard. It's a rare treat to play a left-handed Beneteau; and, from one lefty to another, it's one not to pass up.

With remarkable power and projection, strong low string response, and big, bold trebles, the guitar is an equally able flat-picker as it is a fingerstyle instrument. Like all of Marc Beneteau's guitars, this instrument has a pure fundamental and a whole lot of presence. Overtones are light and complimentary, but not overpowering, and the guitar sings with a remarkable clarity but without any thinness or harshness.

Adirondack spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, Macassar ebony bindings, headstock overlays (front and rear), ebony bridge and fingerboard. 15-3/4" wide Concert Standard body, with Scalloped X bracing. Rounded C neck carve, with 1-21/32" nut, 25" scale length and 2-1/4" string spread at the bridge.

The guitar is in very fine condition and shows little to no playwear. The top's center seam has been very cleanly reglued over a short length below the bridge, the guitar is in otherwise issue-free , beautifully set up, and near-mint.
