1980 Guild Starfire IV Lefty
Serial # GA100201. A factory lefty Guild Starfire IV in near mint condition. The guitar hardly looks 5 years old, let alone close to 35! It's completely original and unmodified, nicely set up, and gorgeous. Three of its knobs are missing their chrome caps, but that's the only issue we can report on. Oh, and it only has right-handed side dots. If you'd like lefty dots installed we'd be happy to make that happen though; but we'll leave it factory original as it sits.
Laminate maple, with semi-hollow construction, the Starfire IV is pretty much Guild's version of a Gibson ES-335. Humbucking pickups, adjustable bridge, three-position switch with volume and tone controls for each pickup along with a master volume control. Bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid inlays, classic Guild headstock looks. Round maple neck, 24.9" scale, 1-5/8" nut, original medium jumbo fretwire.
