2007 Gibson SJ True Vintage
Serial # 02177001. With it's 'Banner' headstock, vintage sunburst finish, bone nut and saddle, and Madagascar rosewood fingerboard and bridge, the True Vintage SJ is certainly reminiscent of yesteryear's guitars, but not actually a reissue of any particular era's Southern Jumbo model. The guitar is lovely, with mid-range presence, and scallop-braced open response. A strong strummer, and good songwriter. Sitka top, mahogany back and sides. Round medium profile neck carve with 1-11/16" nut, 24.75" scale, Kluson tuners. In excellent, nearly-new condition but for upgraded bone bridge pins, and an added strap button.
