1996 Gibson J-185 Rosewood

Serial # 91516003. This Bozeman built guitar features the design and trim of the venerable J-185 model, but was built with rosewood back and sides rather than maple. Scalloped braces, pearl headstock, fingerboard, and bridge inlays, sunburst top finish, and cream bindings. 24.75" short scale, and V shaped neck with 1-23/32" nutwidth make for a nice fingersytle feel, and the guitar does come alive when plucked with a heavy right hand. It's in particularly excellent condition, with no dents, scratches, or playwear, although there are couple of lacquer craze-lines on the top and moderate crazing to a small area on the lower bout (as pictured). Nicely set up, bone saddle and bone bridge pins to finish things off. With original hardshell case
