2009 Gibson Hummingbird
Serial # 00149043. In as-new condition, this Hummingbird offers the best of buying new and buying used. The guitar is as close to perfect as you can imagine, with no playwear or finish wear, scratches, dents, or dings. We've set-it up as well, so it's actually a bit better than a new Hummingbird! And, you can get it at a discount that's significant as compared to a brand new version. All in all, we like the tune this particular bird is humming.
Mahogany back and sides, scalloped-braced Sitka spruce top, bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl inlays, rosewood belly-up bridge, thick hummingbird pickguard, compensated Tusq saddle, bone nut, Grover tuners, a heritage cherry sunburst finish and factory installed LR Baggs under-saddle pickup.
25.5" scale neck, 1-11/16" nut. Warm and powerful, the Hummingbird is truly Gibson's answer to Martin's D-18. The guitar is an excellent strummer and songwriter.
