2007 Gibson R8
Serial # 871351. Here's a gorgeous plain-topped cherry 'burst Gibson R8 historic Les Paul Standard, with a figured Madagascar rosewood fingerboard, and hot-rodded electronics. Sheptone Handwound Tribute pickups for that '59 PAF sound, with mildly aged nickel covers; RS Superpots, and Vitamin Q Caps -- all installed by our repair shop. The guitar sounds hot, to say the least.
In near perfect condition, the instrument's only flaws are a few small dings on the mahogany back. Set up was done by us, too, so you can be assured that it plays beautifully as well. 9.3 lbs.
1959 large round neck carve, historic body binding and matching plastic components, large fretwire, and original style Tune-O-Matic bridge. The guitar is a very well done testament to the '58 sunburst Standard.
