2006 Gibson Historic 1960 Les Paul Special Single Cut VOS
Serial # 0 6323. With its lightly aged lacquer finish and plastic parts, slightly tarnished nickel hardware and one-piece slab mahogany body, this Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Special gets pretty darn close to the real deal. It's a great looking guitar, and thankfully it feels and sounds the way it ought to, as well.
Chunky late 1950's neck carve with a deep rounded profile and 1-11/16" width at the nut, bound Indian rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot markers, bone nut. Lightweight aluminum wrap-around tailpiece, P-90 pickups, 4-ply pickguard.
The tuners have been upgraded with aged Grovers, the original bumblebee caps have been replaced with paper in oil caps, and the tailpiece studs have been replaced with TonePros locking studs. The original caps and studs are in the case.
Beautifully set-up by us, the guitar plays perfectly. It's an amazing rock guitar, and just ridiculously fun to play.
