1963 Gibson TU-1 Ukulele

A simply appointed Gibson Tenor Ukulele from the early 1960’s, the TU-1 features a lightly built unbound mahogany body, thin satin finish, basic hardware, and silkscreened logo. But what the instrument is lacking in appointments it makes up for in tone – it’s a really impressive tenor. Lively and bright, rounded and strong. It’s a lot of fun to play.

There are a few tightly repaired cracks that don’t pose any concern to us, and the instrument is nicely set-up. Friction pegs, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, bone saddle. 1.5” nut, 16-7/8” scale.
