1979 Fender Antigua Stratocaster

Serial # S905148, pickups, pots and pickguard all dated 1978. The Antiqua line was introduced in the late 1960's specifically on the new Coronado hollowbody electrics, but became a standard model option in 1977 on the company's solidbody instruments. The edgeburst grey/green/brown finish isn't for everyone, granted, but those who like it like it a lot!

This example has a 1979 serial number and was built with 1978 parts. It's completely original with no modifications at all. Light finish wear, unfaded and non-yellowed, but shows a slight color footprint left by a strap. Original frets are in excellent condition and show little playwear, and the guitar has just been set-up in our shop. Hot pickups, and killer strat tone. 8-3/4 pounds.

With original hardshell case

REDUCED! Was $2995
