1965 Kay Speed Demon
A three-pickup Kay Truetone Speed Demon, full hollow thin-body. Changed tuners, otherwise completely original. Set-up in shop, the guitar plays well with slightly highish action to compensate for not-so-great original frets. They're no worse than any what you'll find on any other mid-60's Speed Demon though! Great sounding guitar in the neck and middle pickup position. The bridge pickup is weak though, and not in balance with the other two. Oh well, it's still a pretty cool axe.
