2000 Hammertone Octave 12 String
Serial # 2014. Built in Hamilton, Ontario by luthier George Furlanetto, the Hammertone Octave 12 string Electric has become a thing of cult-like status thanks to how cool they are, and how difficult they are to come by. This two-pickup example features a Hammertone Green finish, maple neck, kluson tuners, and chrome hardware. It plays perfectly and has been set-up in our shop. The instrument is in nearly-new condition, and doesn't appear to have been played very much. Unworn frets, no finish damage or dings.
The instrument plays much like a mandolin, but with two extra pairs of strings and guitar tuning, it's quite accessible to us guitar players. It adds a real great dynamic to a recording or live show.
